OK - so it has just occurred to me that the only HOBBY I have is worrying and thinking. (Well, during the football season, I worry and think about the Steelers and I sort of worry and think about politics a lot, but I'm not sure that those examples refute my point.)
So, as part of MY XL Challenge, I am going to FIND A HOBBY! I'm going to make a list and start connecting with the people who can make me a Hobbyist.
Here is my OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD List:
- Fencing
- Golf
- Shooting
- Softball
- Volleyball
- Rock Climbing
- Civil War Re-enacting (or another war - are there Korean War re-enactors)
- Caricaturist
- Cooking
- Wood carving
- Gardening
I have already done a little exploring and found a place to take golf lessons and a fencing club nearby so My Quest has already begun... Stay Tuned.
