In addition to my quest to find a hobby, I have decided that I need to attract a new gang of friends, including (potentially) a best friend. I have had four best friends in my life and one remote best friend - all of which performed the difficult task of dealing with The Frazier admirably.
But I would like to have a new gang and see if there is a new Best Friend for the older, wiser Frazier.
So I am developing my friend acquisition plan and will keep everyone up to date.

I've found that "Best friends" (for guys) don't exist after 30. Instead, you keep a gaggle of friends, neighbors, co-workers, and mechanically inclined acquaintances to make up the fabric of your best friend quilt.
